Birmingham Academy Pte Ltd, RBN200306960N, was incorporated on 23rd July 2003. It is officially registered, according to Singapore Statutory Requirement, with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).
It is also registered with the Ministry of Education as a private school according to the Singapore Private Education Act in July 2003. In September 2010, Birmingham Academy has successfully migrated and registered, via the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) as a Private Education Institution (PEI), with the Council for Private Education (CPE).

The EduTrust Certification Scheme (EduTrust) is a voluntary quality assurance scheme administered by CPE (Committee for Private Education) for PEIs (Private Education Institutes) in Singapore. It aims to recognise PEIs that are able to consistently maintain high standards in key areas of management and in the provision of education services.
The EduTrust assesses PEIs against 6 criteria which includes:
Management commitment and responsibilities,
Corporate governance and administration,
External recruitment agents,
Student protection and support services,
Academic processes and assessment of students, and
Quality assurance, monitoring and results.
