Academic Requirements

• Passed in Certificate in English Language – Elementary or completed at least Primary School with English as a passed subjects

Non-Academic Requirements

• Age 13 and above

The aim of this course is to improve the English ability of students so that they can adapt to the English-speaking environment as soon as possible. On completion of the course, the student will be able to converse without difficulty with others in common settings, speak clearly enough to be easily understood by others, read and understand the main points of common written texts and articles as well as write in simple correct English in several formats.

Criteria for Graduation

Complete course and total marks for written and oral must be at least 50% in the Final Exam.

Progression Requirement

• Complete course and Total marks for written and oral must be at least 40% in the Final Exam
• Meet Minimum Attendance Requirement
  • Foreign Student: At least 90% attendance (absence with valid reasons)
  • Local Student: At least 75% attendance (absence with valid reasons)
