Strategic sourcing enhances efficiency and value, ultimately impacting the profitability of any organization. In this essential course, you’ll learn how to develop and implement a sourcing strategy. Conducted in multifaceted approach, you will acquire key skills such as sourcing tactics for various materials, supplier selection, vendor management, negotiation, effective communication and comprehension of import/export regulation and agreement between countries.

Identify sources of supplies in local and overseas market
Carry out sourcing of supplies through the appropriate means
Evaluate factory (fabric mill and garment factory), products and services against required quality standards and established code of conduct
Learn how to negotiate effectively, arrange and document
Complete sourcing operations

Academic Requirements

Local Students
- GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR
- WSQ Advanced Certificate OR
- WSQ ES WPLN Level 5 and above
International Students
- High School Diploma equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR
- Qualifications from professional institutes may be considered on a case-by-case basic AND/OR
- Pass TaF.tc Entrance Test
English Language Proficiency
- Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent OR
- IELTS score 4.5 or TOEFL score 450

Successful completion of all modules within the course

Graduation Criteria

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
Assessed and be competent for every module
Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required.

Upon succcessful completion of the course, trainee will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
