In a unique hands on experience, this course allows you to create your very own pair of ladies court shoes. You will learn to cut leather components from existing patterns, stitch upper, cement the outsole and use special tools and equipment. With guidance from our professional trainers, take a look into the world of traditional shoe making and craft a pair that’s uniquely yours.

Objectives

Identify tools, equipment and components required to construct ladies’ court shoes
Comprehend the step by step process in court shoes production
Cut and skive shoe upper and other components based on given shoe patterns
Stitching shoe uppers and hand lasting
Assemble the various shoes components to complete the ladies’ court shoes
Perform finishing on ladies’ shoes
Evaluate the workmanship and construction of the ladies’ court shoes
Take corrective actions to rectify the abnormalities or defects

Academic Requirements

Local Students
- GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR
- WSQ Advanced Certificate OR
- WSQ ES WPLN Level 5 and above
International Students
- High School Diploma equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR
- Qualifications from professional institutes may be considered on a case-by-case basic AND/OR
- Pass TaF.tc Entrance Test
English Language Proficiency
- Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent OR
- IELTS score 4.5 or TOEFL score 450

Successful completion of all modules within the course

Graduation Criteria

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
Assessed and be competent for every module
Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required.

Upon succcessful completion of the course, trainee will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
