Academic Requirements

• Entry Level 1 (no exemption)
  • Completed equivalent to at least 9 years of formal education or
  • 3 passes in O Levels or
  • 5 passes in N Levels or
  • NITEC with GPA of 3/4
  • English language proficiency equivalent to IETLS 5.0 or equivalent
• Entry Level 2 (4 exemptions)
  • Completed equivalent to at least 10 years of formal education or
  • 5 passes in O Levels
  • English language proficiency equivalent to IETLS 5.0 or equivalent
• Entry Level 3 (6 exemptions)
  • Completed equivalent to at least 12 years of formal education or
  • at least 12 years of education in UK, Australian & US educational institutions or
  • 2 passes at GCE A Level including General Paper (GP)
  • English language proficiency equivalent to IETLS 5.0 or equivalent

Assessments Methods

The 14 modules are assessed by a written examination or written examination and Assignment. Examinations are held for 3 hours duration for a maximum score of 100%. The examinations are held at the end of each module and re-sit examinations are conducted after the assessment and award board meetings which are held 3 times each year.

Awards

• Integrated Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality 

Academic Progression

On completion of the Integrated Diploma course, students will be awarded a Shelton Integrated Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality and can proceed to pursue their Shelton Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality programme.
