Academic Requirements

• Local Students
  • Minimum 2 GCE O-Level or 3 N-Level credits with a pass in English, or ITE / Higher NITEC Certificate Holders with minimum 2.5 GPA
  • All applicants will be subjected to a visual aptitude test followed by an interview session with FMDS academic heads prior to official acceptance into the programme
  • Pass in English
  • Applicants may be eligible for exemption of selected units if they have previous working experience and/or qualifications in art, design or related industries
• International Students
  • Completed Upper Secondary School  /  Senior High School  /  Grade 12

Assessment Methods

Assessment and examination are mainly project and assignment based, students are required to do a formal presentation at the end of each unit as a form of assessment in FMDS.

Academic Progression

As a graduate of the FMDS Advanced Diploma programme, you can continue to pursue your Bachelor’s degree (with honours) which is conferred by the University of the West of England at the FMDS Singapore campus or at UWE in Bristol, UK.

Alternatively, choose from any of FMDS’ university collaborators- Griffith University (Australia), Shepherd University (US) or Bath Spa University (UK) to continue your higher education.
