The Travel, Tourism & Hospitality programme is designed to teach students methods for effective managerial responsibilities and it offers a platform to think critically, perform analytical studies and develop logical arguments to support the business decision making in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality industry.

Learning Outcomes

To develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life.
Sound theoretical knowledge of the various functional elements related to business;
A high level of communication and interpersonal skill
The ability to identify and analyse business problems, collect relevant data so that plans and policies can be formulated and implemented
Practical guidelines to manage and administer their areas of responsibility efficiently and effectively.
On completion of the Advanced Diploma course students will be awarded Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality.

Academic Requirements

Relevant Shelton Diploma or
Completion of first year study of UK, 3-year Bachelor degree or
Recognized qualifications of approved Institutions of Higher Education, subject to the approval of the Academic Board
Any other necessary subject/skills pre-requisites, if required
English language requirement of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent language test results

Assessment Methods

The 8 modules are assessed by a written examination or a written examination and an assignment or projects. The examinations are of 3 hours duration for a maximum score of 100%. The examinations are held at the end of each module and re-sit examinations are conducted after the assessment and award board meetings.
